Members of our chambers are regularly instructed to provide advice and represent clients in Family Court matters, including complex local and international parenting matters, financial cases involving third parties, restraining order applications, matters falling within the care and welfare jurisdiction of the Children’s Court and the guardianship jurisdiction of the State Administrative Tribunal.

Our members receive briefs to appear at all stages of the dispute process, from interim matters, to trial and to appeals. Members also undertake advice work and can provide ongoing strategic guidance regarding the management of litigation. This may be especially helpful to solicitors at the early stages of a matter.
