Benjamin Tomasi

Ben Tomasi practices in commercial and public law. He appears, both led and unled, in most courts and tribunals in Western Australia, and has appeared as junior counsel in the High Court of Australia.

Ben is regularly instructed in high value and complex commercial litigation. He also acts for and against public authorities in commercial cases.

Prior to joining the Bar, Ben was a solicitor in government and private practice, Associate to the Hon. Chief Justice Kiefel AC at the High Court of Australia, and lectured and tutored in constitutional law and jurisprudence. He holds a BCL with Distinction from the University of Oxford and is a current author of the LexisNexis publication commonly known as the Red Book.
