Edward Greaves is a recognised expert in relation to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Cth) and the Criminal Property Confiscation Act 2000 (WA). With nearly 15 years’ experience in this field, he offers thorough, confident and cost-effective advice.

Edward acts for a diverse range of clients, from government to the accused, innocent third parties and banking and financial institutions.

He also practises in financial and white-collar crime, money laundering and Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing fields. Edward writes for LexisNexis in these areas. Edward is highly respected by his peers, having received recognition from Doyles since 2017.

Further, Edward is experienced in handling equitable injunctions.

He was awarded the Chief Justice’s prize for the best performed reader in the WA Bar Association’s 2014 bar readers’ course, and the advocacy prize for that course. He also received a United States Attorney’s Award for his work on an international forfeiture case in relation to the ‘Goldfinger Bullion Reserve Corporation’.

He is Chair of the Courts Committee of the Law Society of WA.
