Emma Luck
Emma predominantly practises in commercial law and public law, specialising in complex taxation litigation, regulatory matters and insurance policy disputes.
Emma commenced legal practice in London in 1999 where she worked in both public and private practice, before moving to Australia and transferring her admission there in 2006.
With over 25 years’ experience representing a wide range of commercial clients, government departments and regulatory agencies, Emma is known for her strong commercial acumen, skilled advocacy and excellent technical legal skills.
She regularly appears with or without a leader in state and federal courts and tribunals, as well as in domestic and international arbitrations. Emma also has a strong appellate practice.
Prior to joining Francis Burt Chambers in 2015, Emma worked in private practice in Perth at both top tier Australian and international law firms.
