James O’Hara

James O’Hara accepts briefs in all areas of commercial law.

He is regularly briefed to appear in a diverse range of matters, both led and unled. He has a background in class actions, corporate insolvency, energy and resources, and insurance.

Before joining the Bar, James was a Senior Associate in the disputes team at Herbert Smith Freehills. He was previously the Associate to the Hon. Justice Hall in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

James holds a Master of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
