Max Beckerling

Max was admitted in 2003. He practiced as a solicitor until 2013 including as partner at the specialist Family Law firm Dowding Crooks Hynes. He joined the Bar in 2013 and has practiced since then primarily in complex property and child-related disputes and appeals.

Max has a BA (UWA) and an LLB (Murdoch). He was the Chief Justice’s Best Performed Bar Reader in 2013 and has been recognised from time to time since then in the Doyle’s Guide and Best Lawyers. He is currently a member of the Australian Bar Association’s Family Law committee.

Max’s areas of expertise include: Parenting and Property-related Family Law Disputes, Child Support, Hague Convention and Child Abduction, Care & Protection, Restraining Orders, Trusts & Estates and Appeals.
