Michelle is an experienced commercial litigator with a particular passion for equity, trusts, and deceased estates. Leveraging her expertise in dispute resolution, sharp legal acumen, and strategic instincts, she delivers pragmatic advice that helps clients navigate complex challenges and achieve optimal outcomes.

Since joining the Victorian Bar in 2019, Michelle has built a reputation as a reliable and versatile counsel, appearing both led and unled across all Victorian courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. In 2023, she moved back to Perth to continue her practice closer to home. She has since appeared in the Supreme Court of WA and the State Administrative Tribunal.

Michelle regularly advises and represents a diverse range of clients, both public and private, on matters spanning civil regulation, contractual disputes, consumer law, energy regulation, property law, trusts, deceased estates, family provision claims, and equity. Her clients value her ability to break down complex legal issues and offer clear, practical solutions.

Before her time at the Bar, Michelle honed her expertise in commercial litigation, trade practices, and regulatory law through roles at Allens, the ACCC, and the Australian Government Solicitor. She also gained hands-on experience in a boutique general practice, where she provided strategic advice to private companies and high-net-worth individuals on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
