Neha Dubey accepts briefs in commercial, public and international law, with a particular focus on fraud, tax, regulatory matters, disciplinary proceedings, employment law and general commercial disputes. Neha began her career as Associate to the Hon. Justice Corboy of the WA Supreme Court before working for top tier commercial law firms in Perth and Hong Kong, and later the ATO’s litigation team.
Douglas Johnson’s practice focuses on commercial law and international arbitration. He has experience in a broad range of commercial matters including contractual and construction disputes (including high-value disputes arising from construction and engineering projects), insurance litigation, shareholder and corporations law matters, urgent injunctions, and royal commissions. Doug was previously a solicitor in the dispute resolution teams at Jones Day and King & Wood Mallesons, and also practised in insurance litigation at Moray & Agnew.
James Nagle practises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, having particular experience in corporations law, corporate insolvency, contract law, personal property securities related matters, class actions, consumer law, equity and trusts. He began his legal career as Research Associate to the Hon. Justices Pullin and Murphy of the WA Court of Appeal, before working as a solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills. Prior to joining Chambers, James was a senior associate in the disputes team of King & Wood Mallesons in Perth.
James O’Hara practises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, having particular experience in the conduct of high value commercial disputes. He has acted in disputes concerning energy and resources, product liability, class actions, insolvency, trusts and insurance. Prior to joining Chambers James was a senior associate in the disputes team at Herbert Smith Freehills. He also worked in the commercial litigation team of Minter Ellison, and was previously Associate to the Hon. Justice Hall of the WA Supreme Court.
Rex Vines accepts briefs in all areas of commercial law and public law. He also advises on complex energy and energy regulatory matters. Before joining Chambers, Rex was the principal legal adviser to Energy Policy WA (the WA Government Department assisting the Minister for Energy) and the WA Minister for Energy in his oversight of the energy portfolio and activities of state-owned utilities. He commenced his career at the State Solicitor’s Office.
